About Us:

Before kids, Brent and I revolved heavily around traveling and working abroad whether for fun, for work, or faith-based programs.  We lived in Amsterdam, the Netherlands from 2008-2014 and had an amazing experience.  Brent had the opportunity to work in what was then Starbucks' European HQ,. 

That experience taught us a massive amount about ourselves, the world, God, and what defines our family. We lived in an apartment between the canals.  We enjoyed 9 years of adventures before Caeden was born in 2011. 

Even after Caeden was born, we still managed to cart him around to 20 different countries before he was 2 years old.

Once Burke came along, Brent’s job picked up speed and he was traveling constantly for work. I found myself ready for a change of pace and for our kids to have more opportunities to see their grandparents. God gave us a word about Bainbridge Island, a place we had only driven through once many years earlier.  We ended up buying a house there through God's provision and finding an incredible community through the island and especially at Island Church.

The last four years have left no doubt that we are right where we needed to be. It's been an incredible time of growth and joy for our family.  And yet, we are pulled to an experience beyond our borders again.  Check out the FAQ for more in-depth explanation of our current adventure.

We want to inspire anyone who’s dreamed of traveling, working around the world, or doing anything massively different from the norm. We bring the Kingdom of God with us wherever we set foot, and we want to share the love of Jesus with all we encounter, even in small ways.
